New Delhi: In a horrific incident in Hyderabad, a minor girl was allegedly molested & gang-raped inside a Mercedes car by a group of juvenile students belonging to powerful & influential families.
The incident that happened last Saturday has sent shockwaves as the crime was committed by school students of Class 11 & 12. An MLA’s son is also said to be the part of the group that gang raped the teenager.
Police have registered a case under Section 354 of the IPC and also the POCSO act against three accused involved in the sexual assault.
The victim is a 17-year-old minor girl who went to a pub with friend. As her friend left early, she made friends with a boy and left the club with him. Some other boys who were with him also left along with them and promised to drop her home.
The incident happened in Jubilee Hills area of the city and police station of the area has launched hunt for the culprits. The accused parked the car in this area and took turns to rape the girl inside the Mercedes car.
Initially, a complaint of outraging the modesty was lodged but later when the girl narrated the incident, rape case was lodged.
The girl, shocked to the core, was hesitant about recounting the horrible experience and told her father that some boys had assailed her at the pub.
Father got the primary complaint lodged but when the matter came to light, rape case was lodged.
The rape survivor narrated the entire incident when women police officers started interrogation.
The identity of the accused is unknown, however, the girl is said to have recognised one accused.
BJP demands immediate arrest
Telangana BJP has gone all guns blazing at the state government for poor law & order. Not arrests has been made yet. Telangana BJP said that the MLA’s whose son was part of the gang is a Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislator.
