New Delhi: While the ghastly murder of Shraddha has shaken the city & the country, chilling details are emerging about the monster Aftab Ameen, his modus operandi of killing & disposing off her live-in girlfriend and also about Shraddha’s struggles in troubled relationship.
Shraddha Walker, the 26-year-old girl from Mumbai was murdered at a rented flat in Delhi, cut into 35 pieces by her boyfriend and then her body parts disposed off in city’s jungles.
While the killer boyfriend is being interrogated, Shraddha’s friend Laxman Nadar has made many chilling revelations about the murderous mind of killer Aftab.
Laxman said that there were many fights between Aftab & Shraddha and he used to often beat her. One day, the situation come to such a stage where Shraddha sought his help in coming out of the relationship else he would kill him.
Laxman was probably one of the friends to be in touch with Shraddha’s family when the latter snapped ties and moved to Delhi with killer boyfriend. It was he who informed her family in Mumbai that she had gone missing.
“Once Shraddha contacted me on WhatsApp and asked me to rescue her from home. She said that if she continued staying with Aftab, he would kill her,” Nadar told a publication.
He even informed that he & some other friends brought Shraddha out of the troubled home in Chhatarpur and they even warned Aftab against getting violent on her. However, they didn’t file any complaint before the police.
The situation turned more problematic when Nadar also got ‘disconnected’ from her. Shraddha stopped contacting him also and it was then he got worried & contacted her family in Mumbai.
“After not being able to locate her whereabouts, I finally informed her brother that she had gone incommunicado for over a couple of months and said we should seek help from the police,” a leading portal reported him saying.
The 26-year-old girl was strangled by live-in partner Aftab Ameen Poonawala, within days of shifting to Delhi residence. Aftab chopped her body into 35 pieces, stored the parts in fridge and then disposed them off in Mehrauli jungles. He did this over a period of 18 years and deliberately scattered the body parts to avoid getting caught by police.
