Flight en route to Moscow getting crashed near Afghanistan is not Indian, confirms MoCA

The Ministry of Civil Aviation, through their X (Formerly known as Twitter), confirms that the flight in question is not of Indian origin.

New Delhi: According to earlier reports, an Indian aeroplane travelling to Moscow, Russia, has reportedly met with a crash near Zibak district in Aghnaistan’s Badakhshan.

According to the Badakhshan Police Command, the passenger plane disappeared from radar last night and crashed in the high mountains of the province’s Zibak district’s “Artillery” area, reported the Afghanistan media.

However, in recent lights of news, the flight in question is reportedly not Indian according to the Indian official sources.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation, through their X (Formerly known as Twitter), said, “The unfortunate plane crash that has just occurred in Afghanistan is neither an Indian Scheduled Aircraft nor a Non Scheduled (NSOP)/Charter aircraft. It is a Moroccan registered small aircraft.”

It is also confirmed by an official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the nation’s top aviation authority, that the aircraft was not an Indian one but a Moroccan-registered DF-10 aircraft, according to the media reports.
