‘It was by Amit Shah’s grace…’: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust gen sec Champat Rai praises Home Minister after trust meeting

When Champat Rai was asked about the difference in the dates and the interference, he said that the hearing in the Supreme Court has been possible with Amit Shah’s grace.

New Delhi: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust held a meeting to discuss the progress of the Ram Temple construction. After the meeting, the trust’s general secretary Champat Rai, in a conversation with Aaj Tak, said that it was by the grace of Home Minister Amit Shah, otherwise, there would not have been a hearing of the case in the Supreme Court.

There were talks about the ‘pran pratishtha’ of Ramlala in Ayodhya after 14 January 2024, after the Uttarayan of the Sun. On the other hand, during the program in Karnataka, Amit Shah asked people to make a reservation to go to Ayodhya on 1 January 2024, as the grand temple will be ready and Ramlala will sit in it by then. When Champat Rai was asked about the difference in the dates and the interference, he said that the hearing in the Supreme Court has been possible with Amit Shah’s grace. He added that he is not Amit Shah but the blood who works for the honour of the country.

Talking about the date, Champat Rai said that the date will be decided as per the auspicious time.

In the meeting, the trust members discussed the length and width of the idol and the stone to be used. Champat Rai said that various aspects related to the idol, how the idol is to be made, and aspects related to its face and other related features were discussed in the meeting.

All these aspects were discussed with idol experts from Odisha, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Apart from Champat Rai, the meeting was attended by treasurer Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, trust member Dr Anil Mishra and engineers from LNT and Tata Consultancy.
