
New Delhi: In yet another incident, a man was stabbed to death outside a shop by masked attackers in Karnataka’s Mangaluru on Thursday evening.
The attack was captured in a CCTV camera. The incident took place amid tension in the district over the killing of BJP youth wing leader Praveen Nettaru on Tuesday night.
Soon after the attack incident, Prohibitory orders to ban large gatherings were imposed in Suratkal and adjoining areas.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Fazil .
The Police said that the attack happened when he was talking to an acquaintance when the assailants stepped out of a car and ran towards him.
Security beefed in and around Suratkal. The murder of the Muslim youth comes two days after Praveen Nettaru, a BJP youth leader was killed in neighbouring town of Sullia.

Section 144 Imposed
Police said that Fazil was attacked by four or five people.
Mangaluru Commissioner of Police (CP) N Shashi Kumar said that section 144 has been imposed in Surathkal, Mulky, Panambur and Bajpe.
