Kerala Human Sacrifice: A look at killer’s FB posts shows his love for Haiku poems

On October 6, he posted his last Haiku on Facebook. After the appalling & gruesome murder of two women came to light, he along with his wife were arrested by the cops for allegedly conducting human sacrifice at their home.

New Delhi: Bhagaval Singh, one of the key accused in the horrific human sacrifice case in Kerala had a liking & penchant for short poems, reveal his Facebook posts.

A look at the Facebook posts of Bhagaval Singh shows that he used to regularly post short poems on the social media, reportedly penned by him.

Scrolling down his Facebook timeline, one gets to see that he often shared Haiku, a form of Japanese poetry which consists of just 17 syllables.

On October 6, he posted his last Haiku on Facebook. After the appalling & gruesome murder of two women came to light, he along with his wife were arrested by the cops for allegedly conducting human sacrifice at their home. In one post, he wrote that he used to learn Haiku.

The horrific murder of 2 women for financial prosperity and reports of cannibalism has left the nation shocked to the core. As per reports, the women were abducted, cut into pieces, their blood splattered on walls of the house and then the couple allegedly consumed their flesh, as part of black magic.

Three persons — Bhagaval Singh, his wife Laila (59), along with key accused Mohammed Shafi (52) were arrested by Kerala cops on October 11. They were remanded to 12-day police custody.

Reports suggest that prime accused Mohammed Shafi got in touch with Bhagaval Singh via Facebook. Police found that Shafi operated his Facebook account under the fake name of Sridevi and reportedly persuaded Singh couple into occult practice.

The 68-year-old Bhagaval Singh is a massage therapist by profession and has also volunteered for the CPI (M), reports said. The Left party though has denied any association with the accused couple.
