Lalu Yadav’s son Tej Pratap threatens to release videos of abuse and sufferings after marriage

Ever since he filed a petition seeking divorce four years ago, he claimed to “maintained silence.”

New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav, on Tuesday threatened to release the videos of “abuses” that he claimed he and his family suffered after his marriage.

He said this after a news portal carried a report about his divorce case, which basically presented him in a poor light.

Tej Pratap said he can come out with countless video clips and other evidence to prove the physical and verbal abuse that he and his family has suffered.

It was in May, 2018 that Tej Pratap had tied the knot with Aishwarya Rai, a granddaughter of late former chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai. Tej Pratap Yadav and  Aishwarya Rai’s marriage lasted less than six months.

Several videos had gone viral which showed that his wife,  Aishwarya standing outside his house.

Aishwarya’s father Chandrika Rai later left the RJD following this incident.

Also, Tej Pratap has urged media outlets to abide by a family court order restraining journalists from reporting the divorce case proceedings.

The couple was last seen together at the Patna High Court a month ago for counselling.
Counselling is mandatory for all couples seeking divorce.
