New Delhi: Navi Mumbai police has deployed drones to track movement and assembling of people despite lockdown in place. The drones armed with camera are keeping a watch on law-breakers and those not maintaining social distancing norms, especially on the house terrace.

Recently, some videos emerged showing couple of people gathering on the terrace, thereby endangering lives of their own and others. In fact, they started running away when the drones passed over their terrace.

Till now, 8 people have been arrested for flouting lockdown and callous behaviour.

Police have intensified vigil mostly, in the containment zones like Panvel. A few days back, some videos also surfaced on Twitter, showing people coming out of house and riding motorbikes.
