Exit polls have predicted the probable outcome of the election, days before the Election Commission of India (ECI) unveils the official results on June 4th, 2024.

New Delhi: With the border state of Punjab casting its votes on June 1, 2024, the 7th & final phase of voting for the Lok Sabha Election 2024 concluded today around 6:PM.

All eyes are now on the exit polls which have predicted the probable outcome of the election, days before the Election Commission of India (ECI)  unveils the official results on June 4th, 2024.

Here are all the potential results of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 on the 13 seats of Punjab, predicted by the Exit Polls conducted and released by the country’s major pollsters including Republic TV Matrize, C-Voter, and India Today-Axis My India.

Key Candidates To Watch Out For 

In the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Punjab is witnessing a 4-way showdown between national-level parties like Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC) and parties with regional dominance like Aam Admi Party (AAP) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).

In the contest, the most noteworthy candidates to watch out for are Ex Punjab CM Amarinder Singh’s wife Preneet Kaur (BJP), Dr Dharamvira Gandhi (INC), Dr. Balbir Singh (AAP),  Ex Indian ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh(BJP), Harsimrat Kaur Badal (BJP), Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu (INC) and Gurmeet Singh Khudian (AAP).

UPA

Despite losing to the BJP-led NDA in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in a one-sided affair, Congress managed the win 8 out of 13 seats in Punjab with a whopping vote share of 40.12%.

BJP and SAD, on the other hand, contested the election as NDA and won 2 seats each (Together 4) with their vote share being 27.75 % and 9.63% respectively. AAP won the remaining 1 seat with a 7.38% vote share.
