Maha minister Abdul Sattar abuses Lord Hanuman? Nitesh Rane tweets video

The veracity of the viral video is yet to be ascertained, however, it is said to be old clip when Abdul Sattar was in Congress party. According to some inputs, this video is from Satara district where Sattar was caught on camera abusing Hanuman Chalisa.

New Delhi: Amid the raging controversy over Hanuman Chalisa specifically in Maharashtra, a video of Shiv Sena minister Abdul Sattar is set to give fresh fodder for political fireworks in the state.

BJP leader Nitesh Rane on Wednesday tweeted a video which allegedly has Maharashtra minister Abdul Sattar abusing the Lord Hanuman & using cuss words for Hanuman Chalisa. Nitesh is the son of veteran Maharashtra politician Narayan Rane.

Within minutes of posting the video featuring some locals along with police & the minister, it has gone viral on social media. In the video, the minister reportedly uses slang words against Lord Hanuman and also abuses local people, who seem to have assembled at a spot in support of Hanuman Chalisa ‘recital in public’.

The video is set to escalate the war of words between opposition BJP and the MahaAgadhi government. Uddhav Thackeray govt has found itself in the crosshairs of BJP & Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) as both have raised the pitch against incumbent dispensation and accused it of having biased approach towards majority community.

Abdul Sattar  is a three-time MLA from Sillod constituency. He also served as minister in Congress govt but switched loyalties to Shiv Sena in 2019.

Maharashtra has been on the boil after Raj Thackeray’s ultimatum to Uddhav govt over removal of loudspeakers from mosques by May 3 and Rana couple turning up the heat on current dispensation over latter’s ‘lopsided’ or rather ‘preferential’ treatment to a certain community.
