Media served people in ‘unprecedented way’ by spreading awareness on Covid-19: PM Modi

The Prime Minister also released two books written by the Chairman of Patrika Group of Newspapers, on the occasion. 

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today lauded the role of media in fighting with the COVID pandemic. PM Modi said the enlightened section of the society, and writers are like guides and teachers of society.

Though the media is also criticised at times, more so in this age of social media, but everybody needs to learn from criticism, he said, adding this is what makes India’s democracy strong.

He said this while addressing the inauguration of the Patrika Gate in Jaipur through video conference.

Modi also asserted that the voice of India along with Indian products is becoming more global with the country now enjoying stronger presence at world bodies.

The Prime Minister also released two books written by the Chairman of Patrika Group of Newspapers, on the occasion.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Governor Kalraj Mishra and Gulab Kothari, Chairman of Patrika Group was also present at the event.
