
New Delhi: The Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) on Monday asked West Bengal Government for a report on the post-election violence targeting opposition political workers in the state. Political workers, including BJP, were allegedly targeted by opponents since the announcement of results.

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) national spokespersons Sambit Patra that some TMC workers are attacking BJP offices & workers.
Many cellphone videos are emerging on social media, claiming that TMC workers are burning offices, looting shops, and attacking BJP workers in the different parts of the state.
The video of the fire in the BJP office in Arambagh is also becoming viral on social media.
