Mulayam Singh Yadav is quite critical today and is on life-saving drugs: Medanta Hospital, Gurugram

Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health remain critical.

New Delhi: Dr Sanjeev Gupta, Medical Director of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Sunday said that former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is quite critical.

The hospital said that Mulayam Singh continues to be in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram and is maintaining vitals on life-saving drugs.

Dr Sanjeev Gupta said that Mulayam Singh Yadav is being treated by a comprehensive team of specialists.

The Samajwadi Party also shared health update of Mulayam Singh Yadav on their official Twitter handle.

“Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav ji is quite critical today and on life saving drugs, he is being treated in the ICU of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon by a comprehensive team of specialists, “the Tweet said.

Mulayam Singh is under treatment since August 22 for his regular medical checkups and examinations. He was shifted to ICU at Medanta Hospital after his health deteriorated.

On Friday (October 7), Union defence minister Rajnath Singh met Mulayam Singh Yadav at the hospital.

On Wednesday (October 5), Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav also visited the hospital to check on Mulayam Singh’s heath.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also enquired about Mulayam Singh’s health.
