NCPCR Chief to visit Bengal’s Titagrah to inquire blast in school

The apex child rights body NCPCR chief Priyank Kanoongo is set to travel to Titagarh in West Bengal to inquire into the serious incident of a bomb blast in a school.

New Delhi: The apex child rights body NCPCR chief Priyank Kanoongo is set to travel to Titagarh in West Bengal to inquire into the serious incident of a bomb blast in a school. In the school, a group of miscreants, including Rehan, Mohammad Aryan, Sadiq and Bablu hurled a bomb. It is reported around 1,300 students were present in the school.

Tweeting about the development, Kanoongo, ”I will be visiting Titagarh North 24 Pargana, West Bengal tomorrow to inquire into serious incident of a bomb blast in school by miscreants elements Rehan,Mohammad Aryan,Sadiq and Bablu.”

The incident happened on Saturday when the classes were in progress. Luckily, there was no casualty reported in the incident. The bomb was pelted at the roof of the school.

Meanwhile, the students and teachers were in rooms located on the first two floors of the three-storeyed building. So far, the authorities have arrested four persons in connection with the incident in the school.
