Partial ‘corona curfew’ imposed in Uttar Pradesh extended till May 17

Uttar Pradesh is among the ten states which collectively reported 71.81 per cent of new COVID-19 cases, according to the Union Health Ministry on Friday (May 7).

New Delhi: Partial ‘corona curfew’ has been imposed in Uttar Pradesh extended till May 17, said ACS Information Navneet Sehgal.

This comes a day after Uttar Pradesh recorded 26,847 new cases and 298 deaths on Saturday.

According to the official data, there are 2,45,736 active cases of COVID-19 in the state.

Uttar Pradesh is among the ten states which collectively reported 71.81 per cent of new COVID-19 cases, according to the Union Health Ministry on Friday (May 7).
