PM Modi likely to inaugurate India’s new Parliament building on May 28

New Delhi: Sources said that India’s new Parliament building is likely to be inaugurated later this month by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The new Parliament building which is currently in the final stage will be inaugrated on May 28, to mark nine years of PM Modi’s government.

PM Modi had taken oath as the PrimeMinsiter of India, nine years ago on May 26, 2014.

PM modi had earlier made a surprise vist to the new Parliament building. PM spent more than one hour and he also inspected the both the houses of the Parliament.

PM Modi had laid the foundation stone of the new Paliament building in December 2020.

The new Parliament Building is built at a cost of Rs 970 crore.

According to reports, the forthcoming Monsoon session is likely to be held in the new building in July.

In July last year, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had unveiled the National Emblem cast on the roof of the New Parliament Building.
