PM Modi likely to inaugurate India’s new Parliament building on May 28

India’s New Parliament Building Inaugration: PM Modi to inaugrate the new sansad on May 28, says Sources.

New Delhi: Sources said that India’s new Parliament building is likely to be inaugurated later this month by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The new Parliament building which is currently in the final stage will be inaugrated on May 28, to mark nine years of PM Modi’s government.

PM Modi had taken oath as the PrimeMinsiter of India, nine years ago on May 26, 2014.

PM modi had earlier made a surprise vist to the new Parliament building. PM spent more than one hour and he also inspected the both the houses of the Parliament.

New Parliament Building:

The India’s new parliament building, is a triangular-shaped building.
It is is built at an area of 64,500 square metres.
This new Parliament building is a 4-storey building and it has space for around 1,224 MPs.
The new sansad bhawan will have three main gates– Shakti Dwar, Gyan Dwar, and Karma Dwar.
