Devise strategy to open lockdown, says Rahul; urges Centre to be more transparent with its actions
New Delhi: The continuing stand-off between Indian and Chinese forces in Eastern Ladakh took an ugly turn and turned into bloody clashes on the intervening night of June 15-16, with both sides suffering casualties.
India lost its 20 bravehearts while more than 45 Chinese soldiers were killed in the reported hand-to-hand combat. Indian Army called it an unilateral move by Chinese forces to change the status quo, alleging that they transgressed into Indian side. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today sent out a clear message to China that any provocation will be reciprocated and if instigated, Indian forces will give a befitting reply.
Pak media laps up Rahul’s tweet
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed China for its misadventures but also lashed out at the Modi government also. Inspite of rallying behind government, he directly pointed fingers at Prime Minister.
Why is the PM silent?
Why is he hiding?Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened.
How dare China kill our soldiers?
How dare they take our land?— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) June 17, 2020
Pakistan media lapped up Rahul Gandhi’s tweet slamming the government over Galwan valley violent face-off.

‘Rahul’s Pak connection’….not the first time
It’s not the first time that Pakistani media has given prominence to Rahul Gandhi in its headlines. It does so with a motive. Since Rahul Gandhi is mostly seen criticizing the Modi government, it adds to Pakistani fake propaganda and false narrative.
On Pulwama attack anniversary (14th Feb 2020), the former Congress chief took to Twitter to politicse the ghastly terror attack that claimed lives of 44 CRPF personnel. Rahul tried toinsinuate some hidden motive behind the attacks by asking ‘who benefitted from attacks?’
Today as we remember our 40 CRPF martyrs in the #PulwamaAttack , let us ask:
1. Who benefitted the most from the attack?
2. What is the outcome of the inquiry into the attack?
3. Who in the BJP Govt has yet been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack? pic.twitter.com/KZLbdOkLK5

This was also given due attention by many Pakistani newspapers, many of them headlined it on front pages.
Twitterati slam Rahul over Ladakh stand
Many Twitter users were indignant with Rahul Gandhi’s tweet, saying that at this time, the Congress leader should stand with the nation rather than raising questions.
