Rajasthan: ‘Snake man’ dies minutes after being bitten by a venomous cobra (VIDEO)

Vinod Tiwari was popularly known as ‘snake man’ in Rajasthan’s Churu district.

New Delhi: Vinod Tiwari had been catching snakes for nearly 20 years died on Saturday after being bitten by a venomous cobra in Rajasthan’s Churu district. He was 45.

According to the locals, Tiwari used to leave the snakes in the forest after catching them.

The incident has been captured in CCTV which shows Vinod Tiwari catching the cobra outside a shop in the Gogamedi area of Churu on Saturday morning. When he tried to put the Cobra in the bag, the snake bites him.

Within minutes he died.

He was popularly known as the ‘snake man’ in the area. On Sunday, several people attended his funeral.
