Ram Leela in Ayodhya: Watch LIVE streaming on DD National; film personalities portraying key roles....
New Delhi: The star-studded Ram Leela at Laxman Quila in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The nine-day dramatic folk re-enactment of the life of Lord Ram as per the epic Ramayana will be a virtual affair this year.
As per an official release by the Information Department of Uttar Pradesh, the live streaming of the event has been organised in collaboration with the tourism and cultural department of the Uttar Pradesh government and was launched by Tourism, Culture, Religious Affairs Minister of Uttar Pradesh Neelkanth Tiwari and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma.

Several Bollywood stars are a part of Ayodhya’s ‘Ram Leela’. Vindu Dara Singh will play the role of Lord Hanuman while BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari will play Angad and Gorakhpur MP and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishen portray Bharat. Raza Murad and Shahbaz Khan will also be a part of ‘Ram Leela’ and play different roles.
“In view of the COVID-19 related precautions during the festival season, happy to share that Doordarshan will be bringing LIVE “Ram Leela” from Ayodhya everyday all through Navratri. The live broadcast on TV and streaming on YouTube will be on DD National 7.00 pm onwards from tomorrow,” Vempati tweeted on October 16.
Where and When to Watch to Ram Leela 2020
Amid the restrictions of COVID-19 this year, Ramlila will be performed without spectators. It will be aired live on social media platforms and DD live YouTube between October 17 and 25. You can watch live streaming from 7 pm to 10 pm. The repeat telecast will be on DD Bharti the next day from 7 am to 10 am and on DD National from 3 pm to 6 pm.

A mammoth LED screen will be installed above a grand stage which will mirror the epic ambience of Ramayana. Shashi S Vempati, CEO Prasar Bharati, tweeted images of the grand set up that focuses on state-of-the-art light and sound arrangements so that dialogues are clear during seamless translation and broadcast.
The Ramleela will be held with the cooperation of the tourism and cultural department of the Uttar Pradesh government.
