Realization of ‘New India’ is taking place under the guidance of PM Modi: CM Yogi

The Chief Minister also participated in the symbolic Bhoomi Pujan of 1100 houses to be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the urban areas and also honoured the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes during the program.

Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in the last seven and a half years, India has achieved new heights of all-around development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that the vision of a new India is unfolding under his leadership.

Addressing a gathering at a program organized under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Jharkhandi, Gorakhpur on Saturday, the Chief Minister said, “The new India enhances the pride of 142 crore Indians globally. While large projects are progressing in this India, the benefits of schemes aligned with the goal of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” are reaching everyone without discrimination”.

Yogi mentioned that in the last seven and a half years, over 10 crore toilets have been constructed for the poor in the country, of which 4 crore toilets have been built for the people of Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, 4 crore houses for the poor have been constructed in the country, out of which 55 lakh houses have been built in Uttar Pradesh.

He highlighted that 50 crore people in the country are benefiting from the Ayushman Yojana, receiving free medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh, and 10 crore people in Uttar Pradesh are availing the benefits of this scheme.

The Chief Minister stated further that since the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, 80 crore people in the country and 15 crore people in Uttar Pradesh have been receiving free food grains through PM Modi’s initiative. These government schemes inspire everyone to move forward.

CM Yogi stated that PM Modi initiated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on November 15 from a remote village in Jharkhand. By January 26, this journey will reach every village in the country. During this journey, beneficiaries of government schemes are sharing their success stories, inspiring others through ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani’. Eligible individuals are being connected with schemes during the journey itself.

He assured everyone that no eligible person will be left deprived of the benefits of government schemes. Some beneficiaries shared their experiences with the Chief Minister during the program, expressing gratitude to the government for the benefits provided through the schemes.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected various departmental stalls at the exhibition held at the program venue. On this occasion, he affectionately fed little children and presented them with gifts. He spent some time playing with the children and also participated in the baby shower ceremony of pregnant women.

Before attending the program, CM Yogi worshipped Devadidev Mahadev as per the rituals in Jharkhandi Mahadev Temple and prayed for the welfare of the people.
