New Delhi: In a shocking incident, an eight-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and killed by his 13-year-old friend in Delhi’s Rohini following a fight on Monday.
Police said, the 13-year old accused has been apprehended.
According to reports, the boys got into a a few days back, following which the accused wanted to take revenge. The incident came to lime light after the victim’s family approached police after he went missing on Saturday afternoon. According to the victim’s family, the boy was last seen playing outside the house with his friend.
After which the they could mot find the boy, but when his 13-year-old friend was questioned in this regard, they found out that the victim was taken to a jungle and killed.
According to the statement of the victim’s mother, a case has been registered under sections of kidnapping and the 13-year-old was questioned by the police. It is said that the juvenile opened up about the killing and said that that he had hit the victim with a stone and also took away his phone.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Pranav Tayal said that victim’s body and mobile phone were recovered from a jungle area in Sohati village.
The DCP further said that the boy have been apprehended and his family members are also being questioned further.
Also, it has been found that eight-year-old boy’s parents work as site labourers and helpers.
