Viral VIDEO: Woman pilot & husband thrashed in Delhi for torturing minor domestic help

The distressing visuals captured the woman, still in her pilot’s uniform, being repeatedly slapped and pulled by her hair. Several women struck her while she cried out for help. Despite her pleas and even saying “sorry,” the assault persisted.

New Delhi: Shocking footage has emerged showing a pilot and her husband, both airline staff, being brutally attacked by a mob in Delhi’s Dwarka area. The incident occurred after accusations surfaced that the couple had employed a 10-year-old girl as domestic help and subjected her to torture.

The distressing visuals captured the woman, still in her pilot’s uniform, being repeatedly slapped and pulled by her hair. Several women struck her while she cried out for help. Despite her pleas and even saying “sorry,” the assault persisted.

Meanwhile, her husband was separately assaulted by a group of men. He attempted to come to his wife’s aid, with some individuals intervening to stop the mob’s violence. In the midst of the chaos, one man could be heard shouting, “She will die.”

According to reports, the couple had hired the 10-year-old girl for domestic chores approximately two months ago. Today, a relative of the girl noticed injury marks on her arms and immediately informed the police. The girl was allegedly assaulted due to suspicion of theft.

Word quickly spread among local residents about the alleged mistreatment and abuse inflicted on the girl by the couple. As they witnessed the visible injuries on her arms and under her eyes, a mob gathered and launched an attack on the couple. Police arrived at the scene and subsequently arrested the couple. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway.

Employing children as domestic help is strictly prohibited in India, yet this rule is frequently violated. The incident has shed light once again on the persistence of such violations in the country.

Senior police officer M Harsha Vardhan from Dwarka revealed that burn marks were also observed on the girl’s arms. He stated, “A medical examination has been conducted, and the child has received counseling. Based on her statement, we have registered a complaint under severe sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.”

The shocking assault has sparked outrage and raised concerns about child labor and the mistreatment of domestic workers in the country.
