New Delhi: Smriti Irani, the Union Minister for Women & Child development, arrived in Rajasthan for her the wedding of her daughter Shanelle Irani.
Shaneel Irani is the daughter of Smriti Irani’s husband Zubin Irani’s first wife Mona Irani. She got engaged to an NRI Arjun Bhalla in December 2021.
The wedding celebrations have already begun at the Khimsar Fort, with friends and families of both sides congregating at the venue.
After the duo got engaged in 2021, the Union Minister had also shared a photo on Instagram. In the pics, her would be son-in-law could be seen going down on his knees and proposing to Shanelle Irani.

About 500 year-old fort, hosting the marriage
Khimsar Fort, where the wedding festivities will be held, is a 500-year-old Fort.
The Khimsar Fort is a 15th-century fort is located on the highway between Jodhpur & Nagaur districts of Rajasthan. The age-old palatial fort, surrounded by sand dunes, is now a heritage hotel.
About bride & groom Arjun Bhalla
Smriti Irani’s daughter is a barrister by profession. She earned her law degree from Government law college in Mumbai and then went on to pursue LLM degree from Georgetown University Law Centre in Washington.
Bridegroom Arjun Bhalla is a Canada based lawyer but has roots from India. His parents & grandparents are from India, however, he was born & brought up in Canada.
Having completed his education in Canada, Arjun went to pursue LLB at the University of Leicester in United Kingdom.
After graduating with LLB degree, he started working with Breakwater Solutions Inc. in May 2014. Later, he also had a stint with Apple Inc.
Currently, he is said to be working with law firm based in Dubai.
