New Delhi: In what comes as utter shock and complete disregard of law by an elected representative, an AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar went to meet Hathras victim’s family despite being tested Corona positive, just 5 days back.
Call it sheer callousness or the political compulsion, the AAP MLA from Kondli legislative seat didn’t bother to follow 14 day home or Covid-19 quarantine but went miles away to Hathras to add fire to politics over alleged gangrape and score political points.
And, this was exposed by his own tweets. In one of his tweets dated September 29, he says he has been tested corona positive and advises peers who came in contact in last 2-3 days to get tested too.
Again, on October 4, he takes to Twitter to announce that he has reached Hathras and also tags party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh.

By violating the 14-day quarantine period, he has put risk of others including victim’s family life at risk, just for scoring political points. By now, common people are aware of the mandatory 14-day quarantine period, then how can a legislator be so callous, so naïve or he may have feigned ignorance of Covid-19 nroms.
Sanjay Singh along with AAP delegation today visited Hathras family to extend solidarity with the family, though it has been dubbed as ‘political tourism’ by others.
Sanjay Singh faced an ink attack, as an unknown person threw ink at him and shouted slogans, “PFI agents… go back, go back.
