
New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a traffic constable in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore was caught on camera ‘slapping’ a food delivery agent who attempted to stop a private school bus over a traffic violation.
Soon after this, the video about the incident was shared on social media after which the constable was transferred to the police control room in the city The incident is said to have taken place on Friday evening.
According to the video that has been shared by a Twitter user @welovecovai, Sathish, a grade-1 constable is seen slapping the delivery boy ‘twice’ at a traffic junction on Avinashi Road.
He is also seen snatching delivery boy’s mobile phone, bike keys and has also damaged the motorcycle.
“This happened yesterday evening at the fun mall signal and there was a slight traffic block due to this delivery boy and all of a sudden this Cop Started beating up the Delivery person ”

After this incident, the delivery partner had lodged a complaint with the city police commissioner on Saturday (May 4). They demanded an action against the traffic constable.
Following the complaint by Mohanasundaram, senior police officials quickly responded and transferred Sathish to the control room.
A Swiggy delivery agent named Mohanasundaram was slapped by a traffic police official in Coimbatore.
Mohanasundaram claims he was beaten after he tried to stop a school van that hit a pedestrian.
