New Delhi: While the Punjab police investigates singer Sidhu Moose wala murder, fresh revelation in the case points finger at unidentified persons who clicked selfie with the Punjabi singer, hours before his death.
Punjab cops have brought these people under their list of suspects after scanning the CCTV footage from May 29, the day when he was gunned down in violent shoot-out.
In the CCTV footage, the singer be seen getting clicked with his eager fans outside his house. Moose Wala, fond of expensive cars was reportedly on his black Thar SUV. Two men can be seen standing in front of SUV car. One of them approaches the singer and get a selfie clicked. However, their faces are not clear as the picture is grainy.
Police suspect that those people who got selfies clicked with Moose wala may be behind the murder and they could have given a clue to the killers about his whereabouts & movement.
Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by the unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29. The post-mortem report that the singer was pumped more than 19 bullets in his body and he succumbed to the injuries within 15 minutes of getting shot from attackers.
Till now, the Punjab police have zeroed in on eight shooters for killing Sidhu Moose Wala. They belong to various states including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan & Mahashtra. Police is on the hunt for them and carrying out raids to capture them.
Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead, just a day after his security was curbed by the Punjab government, thereby drawing intense criticism for the state govt.
Meanwhile, Canada based gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the singer’s murder. His associate Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail is also being investigated for alleged role in the murder.
