Uttar Pradesh envisions becoming the cultural hub of the country

Apart from this, a budgetary provision of Rs 77 crore has been made for the expansion of the approach road from Nirmal Ganga bank to Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi.

Lucknow: Yogi government has been determined for the promotion of ancient culture and heritage sites of Uttar Pradesh. The commitment of the government in this direction is prominently visible in the provisions made in the state budget for the year 2022-23.

In the budget proposals, a sum of Rs 25 crore have been earmarked for establishment of Sant Ravidas Museum and Cultural Center in Varanasi and Rs 25 crore for the construction of Sant Kabir museum.

Apart from this, a provision of Rs 60 crore has been made for the construction of tribal museums. Besides, Rs 20 crore has been announced for the establishment, construction, expansion, and up-gradation of museums.

Uttar Pradesh

A whopping Rs 300 crore has been earmarked for construction of approach road to Ram Janmabhoomi temple, for developing public facilities and parking facilities in Ayodhya, Rs 209 crore 70 lakh have been announced.

Apart from this, a budgetary provision of Rs 77 crore has been made for the expansion of the approach road from Nirmal Ganga bank to Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi.

Yogi

In a one of its kind innovative move, Rs 50 lakh have also been proposed for the creation of a website for online integrated temple information system and collection of information.
