Uttarakhand: Army Chief General Manoj Pandey pays pilgrimage visit to Badri-Kedarnath Dham with family [PICS]

New Delhi: On Sunday, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey paid a pilgrimage visit to Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand. Pandey, who had arrived with family, worshipped at both the sacred Dhams.

It is worth noting that Pandey, who is currently on Uttarakhand visit, took stock of the preparations at the forward post of Army in the state on Saturday.

The Chief of Army Staff reached Shrikedarnath Dham at around 9 am on Sunday. Top Army officers were also present with him on the occasion.

After darshan, priest T Gangadhar Linga, temple committee in-charge officer RC Tiwari, and temple administrative officer Yaduveer Pushpawan and Arvind Shukla presented the offerings of Lord Kedarnath to the Army Chief.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army also offered a 102 kg bell for the Singhdwara of the sacred Badrinath temple.
