New Delhi: On March 25, 2024, the countrymen of the entire nation celebrated the merry occasion of Holi in their own ways. While some stuck to the conventional Holi traditions and enjoyed the festival by throwing water and applying colors to their friends and family members, others tried out other various methods to make the day unforgettable for them.
However, when a Noida woman, belonging to the latter category, attempted to make her Holi 2024 adventurous by doing something way out of the box, things didn’t end well for her and all she got was she received was trolling pain, and a lot of embarrassment. In a video that is now circulating on the internet, the crazy woman, dressed in all black, is featured doing the Titanic movie’s iconic pose while standing on the rear seat of a moving scooter.
However, as soon as the scooter gained some speed, her little adventure came to a tragic end as she lost her balance and fell to the ground with a bang, leaving the passerby shocked and confused. She then remained sitting on the busy road for the next few seconds completely shaken and confused by the unexpected fall.
Netizen’s reaction and hefty fine
Moments after the video of the lady’s irresponsible act went viral, netizens quickly took to their social media handles & slammed her in the comment section. While some joked that the guy driving the two-wheeler deliberately made her fall, others simply condemned her for indulging in an extremely reckless act that not only put her own safety at stake but also caused great inconvenience to fellow pedestrians.
“Happy ending for me,” wrote one X user. “These people make a fool of themselves just to gain attention” penned another. A third one added,”Overconfidence cost you a shameful situation.”

Noida Police’s strict action

Besides the pain of public embarrassment and backlash on social media, the woman and her friend also suffered the wrath of the Noida traffic police which added to their their misery by imposing a hefty fine of Rs 33,000 on them for violating the traffic rules. Taking to its official Twitter handle, the Noida Traffic Police later also shared a screenshot of the challan issued against the two.
