
New Delhi: Taking into cognizance of a viral video, the Ghaziabad Traffic Police imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on a car owner. The viral video of the two youths, who are visibly drunk, shows they are dancing on the roof of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
Sharing the video of the traffic rule violators, a Twitter user wrote, ”Meanwhile in Ghaziabad, a group of boys, visibly drunk, dancing on the roof of their car on the Delhi-Meerut expressway. Hope Ghaziabad police make them dance to their tunes in the lockup sooner.”

Dance on roof of running car
The viral video is 33 seconds long. One can see in the video that two men are dancing on the roof of the car, a white Ertiga. Two of their friends are also available in the car and driving the car very slowly. A few moments later, two men came out of the car, and another man dancing on the roof also gets down.
The person behind the camera was seen moving his vehicle to show the number plate of the car.

Ghaziabad Traffic police uploads the copy of Challan on Twitter
After the video went viral on the internet, the Ghaziabad Traffic police shared a copy of the challan at 12:23 am on Saturday. With the copy of the challan, it wrote, ”Taking Cognisance of the complaint received on Twitter, a total fine of Rs 20,000 was imposed on the owner of the car for violating traffic rules.”
As per the details mentioned in the challan, the incident was reported from sector 13 of the industrial area in Ghaziabad on Bulandshahr Road.
Youths apologise for mistake
In another video after the incident, all the five youths can be seen apologising for their mistake, while the car is standing behind them.
