WATCH: Army dog ‘Zoom’ attacked terrorists & received 2 gunshot injuries but continued fighting and performing his task

The Officials said that Zoom has been a part of many active operations in south Kashmir.

New Delhi: Dogs are faithful and there is no doubt in it, but the story about this Army dog will make you feel proud and you will definitely praise his courage.

Army dog ‘Zoom’ was on Monday (October 1o) critically injured in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The officials said, the security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in south Kashmir district’s Tangpawa area late on Sunday night after receiving specific input about the presence of terrorists there.

Following which, the army sent its assault dog named Zoom inside the house on Monday where the terrorists were holed up, the officials said.

The Officials said that Zoom has been a part of many active operations in south Kashmir.

Similarly, on Monday (October 10) Zoom was tasked to clear the house where terrorists were hiding, said Army.

The Officials said that during the operation, Zoom received two gunshots and was critically injured.

The terrorists were attacked after Zoom identified them  during which the canine received two gunshots.

However, Zoom kept fighting and performing his task which resulted in the killing of two terrorists.

Soon after this, Zoom was rushed to the Army’s Vet Hospital and currently canine is under treatment.
