New Delhi: A bizarre incident of violence came to light from Delhi’s Model Town area where a man allegedly thrashed another after he told him not to urinate on the streets openly.

While the exact date of the ordeal is unknown, its footage, which was captured by a nearby installed CCTV & is doing rounds on social media, shows the braw unfold with the accused approaching the victim after finding him sleeping on the footpath & attacking him mercilessly with a wooden stick.

Watch the Clip

The viral video of the incident opens with the accused, a middle-aged guy dressed in a white shirt paired with black pants, walking towards another man who is sleeping beside the roadside on a footpath.  It shows the aggressor double-checking on the sleeping guy to make sure he is indeed the person he has been looking for, the one who earlier scolded him for urinating in public.

Not much after, horror unveils in the footage & we see the attacker brutally hammering the clueless guy by smashing one after other blows with a stick all over his victim’s body, that too not even seconds after waking him up from his peaceful sleep.

After giving his victim the beating of his life, the attacker starts to back off and walk towards his friends, who are seen waiting for him on their bikes parked just a few meters away from the crime scene.  However, after witnessing his victim somehow getting on his feet, he dramatically returns & starts thrashing the poor guy once again. Ultimately, the attacker finally retreats and flees away from the area on the motorbike of his friends, leaving his victim terrified & injured.

Accused Granted Bail?

Meanwhile, not much after the clip of the incident went viral on social media, the accused, as per the reports, was arrested by Delhi police but somehow managed to have himself released on bail. However, it is still unknown whether the arrest was made by the police on the victim’s complaint or based on the viral video itself.
