Watch: Video of man assaulting lady inside a car in Delhi’s Greater Kailash Area goes viral on social media, leaves netizens shocked

New Delhi: An alarming clip recently did rounds on the internet, featuring a guy mercilessly assaulting a lady inside a car. Reportedly from South Delhi’s Greater Kailash area, the video, allegedly recorded on Saturday night, shows a couple seemingly having an intense verbal argument sitting inside their vehicle which took the shape of an ugly physical assault in no time.

Shared on X (previously Twitter) by a social media user named Ajay Joe, the clip opens with a guy frantically shouting at a woman who is sitting beside him in a white hatchback.

While the audio of the footage is unclear, it appears that the man is lashing out at the lady for not letting go of his hand by saying “Hath Chhod” (Leave my hand)  again and again.

Moments later, he loses his patience & starts to brutally attack the woman by throwing punches on and around her face. However, as he learns that someone is recording him in the act, his demeanor immediately changes and he speeds away from the spot with the girl still seated in the car.

X users urge authorities to take action

Dropping the video of the entire incident on X, the internet users tagged various authorities including Delhi Police to his post in an attempt to draw their attention to the matter.  Additionally, he also shared the vehicle registration number of the car in which the aggressor assaulted the lady while also providing deets about the location, time & place of the incident.
