“We’ve got a specific goal for 2047”: PM Modi on National Technology Day 2023

National Technology Day 2023: Here is what PM Modi said-

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the programme marking National Technology Day 2023 in the national capital. Also, with this the celebration of the 25th year of National Technology Day have started.The celebration will be held from May 11-14.

During the inaugral programme, PM Modi  said that there is a specific goal for 2047, and there us a  need to make the country developed and self-reliant.

PM Modi said that the Country is growing forward in every direction that is necessary for a tech leader country. He said in 2014, the Country had only  10 incubation centres but now it has more than 650.

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone and he dedicated multiple projects related to scientific and technological advancement in the country, worth more than ₹ 5800 crore.

At the event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh were also present.

Every year, National Technology Day is observed on May 11.

Every year, different themes are set for this day.

This year’s theme for National Technology Day is ‘School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate’.
