New Delhi: Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar-head of Bageshwar Dham temple in Madhya Pradesh is in the news after he was invited to show his miraculous abilities at an event in Maharashtra.

Reports said he reportedly “fled” to Madhya Pradesh instead of showing up at the event. And since then, the self-proclaimed Bageshwar Sarkar is trending on social media, and videos from his session are going viral.

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar is a 26-year-old self-styled godman of Madhya Pradesh. He is the head of Bageshwar Dham temple of Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur.

He enjoys a huge fan following who are convinced of his supernatural abilities.

He was born as Dhirendra Krishna Shastri in 1996 and he became famous after his followers claimed that he can read minds.

He is also known to have organized ‘Ghar wapsi’ of many.

Superstition challenge row?

The Maharashtra-based organization claimed Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is a fraud and invited him to their Satsang. These allegations came after it was alleged that he fled from a Ramkatha event in Nagpur after he was challenged to show his miracle.

The organization also demanded an FIR against Shastri.

Earlier, BJP’s Kapil Mishra had tweeted in support of Bageshwar Dham head.
