New Delhi: Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja is all set to contest the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections after she was given a BJP ticket from the Jamnagar North constituency.
The first list of candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections was announced today by Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav.
Names of candidates from 160 constituencies were announced by the party.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be contesting the Assembly election from Ghatlodiya constituency.
The Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on December 1 and December 5.
The results of the Gujarat Assembly Elections will be announced on December 8.
Earlier in June 2019, Cricketer Ravindrasinh Jadeja also announced his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Who is Rivaba Jadeja?
Rivaba Jadeja was born in 1990 to Hardev Singh Solanki and Prafullaba Solanki. Before marrying a cricketer she was known as Riva Solanki.
She is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot.
When did she join BJP?
It was in 2019 when Cricketer’s wife Rivaba Jadeja joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). Rivaba has been associated with BJP for the last few years.
Before joining the BJP in 2019, she was appointed as the chief of the women’s wing of Karni Sena.

Rivaba was a good friend of Ravindra Jadeja’s sister Naina, even before she met the Indian all-rounder. Later, they met at a party and soon started dating each other. The love birds got officially engaged on February 5, 2016.
