New Delhi: TV actor Tunisha Sharma’s death case has taken some twists and turns as her mother accused the prime suspect Sheezan Khan, while his lawyer blamed her mother and uncle Sanjeev Kaushal for her suicide. Prime suspect Sheezan’s lawyer came out to the press and alleged that Tunisha committed suicide after facing mental harassment from her mother and uncle.
Who is Sanjeev Kaushal?
Sanjeev Kaushal is Tunisha’s uncle from Chandigarh. He was also alleged to have a relationship with Tunisha’s mother, Vanita while some alleged him to be the actor’s stepfather. He has denied all the claims of being Tunisha’s stepfather and in a conversation with India Today, he stated that Tunisha was like her daughter and his family treated her like their own. He added that he loved her like my own daughter Ritika.

Sheezan’s lawyer said that Tunisha and her uncle Sanjeev Kaushal had ‘terrible’ relations. He alleged that Sanjeev and Vanita controlled Tunisha’s finances and she often had to plead for her own money. He further stated that Tunisha used to panic upon hearing Sanjeev Kaushal’s name. He accused that it was under the instigation of Sanjeev Kaushal, that her mother broke Tunisha’s phone and tried to strangulate her.
Tunisha Sharma’s suicide
Tunisha committed suicide on the sets of the TV show ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ on December 24. Her former boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan has been under police custody as the prime suspect in the case. Tunisha’s mother alleged that Sheezan broke up with her and even tried to convert her, which led to her suicide.
