New Delhi: In order to give wider coverage of Covid-19 vaccination to the vulnerable groups, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has issued directives to make special provisions for priority inoculation of persons with disabilities (PWD), poor, deprived and digitally challenged people by facilitating walk-in onsite enrolment for the immunisation programme.

Ensuring priority to PWD, digitally challenged and poor in the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine, arrangements will be made to enable onsite and hassle-free registration for the vaccination programme at the Common Service Centers across the state which will also in turn reduce the load on the Community Health Centers (CHCs) and will help in maintaining the social distancing norms.

“It is vital for persons with disabilities, chronically ill people, poor, deprived and digitally challenged to have access to the vaccine. They must be inoculated on priority,” said the CM.
