New Delhi: As per the Hindu Calendar, the Chaitra Navratri will begin on April 2 and will last for nine days, until April 11. According to the Hindu calendar, Chaitra Navratri occurs in the month of Chaitra, which corresponds to March-April in the Gregorian calendar.
This year’s event is even more spectacular because it spans nine days, which is regarded as extremely lucky. Maa Durga will arrive on a horse to mark the beginning of Chaitra Navratri while she will depart on a buffalo ride. In Hinduism, both rides carry a lot of symbolism. Kalash Sthapna in Chaitra Navratri 2022: Auspicious Timings
On April 2, the ‘Kalash Sthapna’ will take place between 6.10 AM and 8.31 AM which is considered to be the most fortunate time to place the Kalash and Maya Durga’s idol. If someone is unable to do so in the morning, they can do kalash sthapna between 12 noon and 12.50 PM.
