New Delhi: Fintech firm Cred is known for its creative advertisements that not only promote the company but also keep a lasting effect on the mind of the people. Be it the Rahul Dravid ‘Indiranagar Ka Gunda’ ad or the ‘Antakshari’ one, each of its advertisements is filled with real circumstances, humour, and nostalgia. This time their advertisement was no different which caused a storm on the internet, featuring one and only Ravi Shastri.
Cred’s advertisement showed Ravi Shastri in an entirely different avatar. The former India coach was seen in a never-seen-before look. The ad shows Shastri recreating the hit film Chak De! India’s famous “70 minute” dialogue with a hilarious twist.
The 59-year-old can be also heard asking for “2 cough syrups on the rocks” in one of the scenes. In another scene, he can be seen talking to a girl at a party. “I used to be a batsman, but for you, I can be a keeper,” said Ravi to the girl.
In the clip, his witty reply to a journalist at a press conference was attention-grabbing.
Sharing the ad, Ravi Shastri wrote in the caption on Twitter, “Don’t remember any of this.”

The video went viral in no time with a whopping 1.5 million views on Twitter. Netizens laugh out loud at the hilarious ad and shared their opinion in the comment section. “That was an amazing mode of advertisement,” a user wrote.
