New Delhi: July 31, the deadline to file your income tax returns has passed, and we’re sure you have successfully filed your ITR for the annual year hassle-free. Though the topic has been of sheer interest for all either offline or online.
Previously we have seen Internet users demanding and trending pleas to increase the deadline amid confirmation from the government that no extension in the last date will be provided.
Hashtags including #Extend_Due_Date_Immediately have registered over 5,000 posts on the microblogging site till now.

Meanwhile, according to the Income Tax website, a total of 4,09,49,663 had been filed till July 28, out of which 2,41,15,777 verified returns have been processed already.
