New Delhi: The United States of America has been experiencing the issue of racism for several years. Many protests and demonstrations have taken place which has led several leaders in introducing important changes in society that favoured people across different races. However, even after decades of efforts, sometimes it seems that the issue remains in the same position.
We have gathered videos that would help you to realise how serious the issue is to date. A tenured professor from the University of Pennsylvania in the US is going viral for the wrong reasons. Two videos of Professor Amy Wax where she was heard speaking about immigrants and people of other races on the Tucker Carlson talk show.
In one of the videos, Professor Amy was talking about immigrant Indians. She was heard saying, “Here’s the problem. They (Brahmin women from India) are taught that they are better than everybody else because they are Brahmin elites and yet, on some level, their country is a shit hole.”
In another video, she was heard saying how the black and Asian people foster “resentment, shame, and envy” against western people for their “outsized achievements and contributions.”
Watch the videos here:
Wax then attacks Indian immigrants for criticizing things in the US when “their country is a shithole” and goes on to say that “the role of envy and shame in the way that the third world regards the first world […] creates ingratitude of the most monstrous kind.” pic.twitter.com/dUL9coinS9

Here are some reactions of the reactions by netizens:
A tenured law school professor is on TV, claiming whites are “oppressed,” Black people “feel shame” for their failings, & pitting “wealthy” Asians against Black people. Does @pennlaw support this white nationalist propaganda?

No one wants to apply to a school where racism like this is open and tolerated. Your shame for not dealing with this “law professor” Amy Wax is going to be spread far and wide.#Racismhttps://t.co/81oDGS0JP4— KrisS ? Your Vote, Your Voice ? (@MplsMe) April 11, 2022
If this is her stance why is she still allowed to teach. I hope Penn university is listening and fires her. Think of the young minds she is influencing.

If the majority of your “accomplishments” argument rests on things gained through slavery, racism, bigotry, colonialism, imperialism… you aren’t superior, you are morally reprehensible.

Wax made racist remarks in past. 2006: faculty members at Penn Law condemned her stance against same-sex marriage. 2017: Wax said I don’t think I’ve seen a Black student graduate in the top quarter of the class, and rarely in the top half. She was barred from teaching law class
