New Delhi: The 94th Academy Awards witnessed an unusual moment on the platform of the prestigious ceremony when Hollywood actor Will Smith came on the stage and punched comedian Chris Rock.
After thrashing Rock in an unscripted move, Smith walked back to his seat yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out of your *** mouth”.
As per Variety, Rock had appeared on the stage to present the Oscar for documentary feature and had joked about Smith’s wife Jada-Pinkett Smith being in ‘G.I. Jane’ because of her shaved bald head.
Though Smith was seen laughing at the joke initially, but after Jada looked affected by Rock’s ‘humor’, he walked on the stage and punched Chris.
While the rare situation stunned the celebs present in the mega event, Netizens were also left speechless when the video surfaced online.
