A video showed Sachin Tendulkar saving an injured bird at a beach. The video has gone viral and is winning hearts from fans.

New Delhi: Known as the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar keeps winning hearts to date not by hitting boundaries and over-boundaries but by his caring gestures. He is one of the most active personalities on social media and never fails to give a regular update about his life to his fans and followers. On Friday, the cricketer took to social media to share a heartwarming video where he is seen saving an injured bird.

Taking to Instagram, the Master Blaster shared a video where is seen taking care of an injured bird. He found the bird on the beach and immediately tried to save its life. The video starts with him feeding the bird some water. Then, he carried it with his hands and searched for a place to feed it. While consoling the bird sweetly, he said, “Hopefully it will survive.” Tendulkar then asked a man where he can take the bird to save it. “It needs to be saved, not left,” he added.

Tendulkar found a restaurant where one of their staff provided some seeds to him to feed the injured bird. Later, a man was seen explaining the condition of the bird to him, saying, “Its wings are fine but the left leg is injured.”

Sharing the video, Tendulkar captioned the post, “A little care and affection can go a long way to make our world an even better place!”

The video went viral within no time and is winning the hearts of the netizens. As soon as it was shared, the video garnered nearly 8 lakh views and over 500 comments. More than 110k netizens have liked the video. 

Netizens are sending warm wishes to the cricketer and praising his caring gesture. One of the users wrote, “That’s so generous and compassionate sir,” while another commented, “Golden Heart.”
