New Delhi: Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari, an Iranian man, has won the Guinness World Record title for holding 85 spoons on his body at once. His video was shared by the GWR on Instagram on Wednesday.

Mokhtari lives in Iran’s Akraj. On his achievement, the 50-year-old champion said he has been practicing holding objects on his body since his childhood.

”I accidentally noticed this talent of mine when I was a kid.” ”But after multiple years of practice and effort, I was able to strengthen my talent and develop it to where it is now,” said Guinness World Records quoting Mokhtari.

Mokhtari beat Spanish citizen Dalibor Jablanovic to win the title. Jablanovic had won the title in 2016 by balancing 79 spoons on his body, informed the Guinness World Records on Instagram.

However, Mokhatri failed two times before successfully performing the act.

”Due to the humidity and hot weather, a few spoons slipped from my body as I reached the 80the mark. I tried my best to keep my focus but the temperature of my body and sweat kept bringing me back to the starting point,” said Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari.

Notably, the new record holder said that he not only can hold spoons on his body but also he can hold anything that has a surface.

”Anything that has a surface, I can stick to my body, such as plastic, glass, fruit, stone, wood and even a fully grown human,” Mokhari told to Guinness World Records.
