It raises inquisitiveness to explore and challenge prejudices.  Art transcribes the past and supports sustainable development. Thus, April 15, is celebrated as World Art Day. It signifies unity or connects people together through varied artistic creations that help drive an equitable and inclusive education setup.

Its mere brush strikes engulf a power of understanding human minds. To understand, the pandemic gave them an opportunity for artists to connect with humans and boost their confidence. Apart from that, there are numerous artists and their creations which help us widen the spectrum of our thinking power.

  1. Mona Lisa

The most recognized painting that almost everyone has come across is a painting by a famous Italian artist named Leonardo Da Vinci. Mona Lisa has been considered the most written about painting. Not just this, it has been the most sung, visited, and best-known piece of art.

2. Girl with a Pearl Earring

It’s a beautiful piece of art depicting a young girl with a head scarf and a pearl earring which has been laid down by the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. Interestingly, a novel with the same title was written by Tracy Chevalier which too grabbed huge attention just like the painting achieved the status of a most famous painting by almost every country it traveled.

Leonardo Da Vinci’s painted art has been in existence for around 500 years now. The painting provides a glimpse of Jesus before his arrest, betrayal, and death. To believe, it is apparently located at a monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan.

The painting is a great creation by a Spanish artist named Pablo Picasso. The art piece has been regarded as history’s most powerful anti-war painting, by some. It is located at the Museo Reina Sofia of Madrid.
