New Delhi: Abu Dhabi T10 league, season seven, is done and dusted with its league stages and has finally got their four semifinalists in Morrisville Samp Army, New York Strikers, Deccan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers.
Samp Army and Strikers will face each other in qualifier 1, while the defending champions, Gladiators and Tigers, will take on each other in the eliminator. Both matches, along with qualifier 2 between the loser of qualifier 1 and the winner of the eliminator, will be played on Friday.
The final is slated to take place on Saturday, December 9.
Day 10 recap
Once again, three matches were scheduled for day 10.
In the first match, Bangla Tigers were up against the Chennai Braves, with their last chance for qualification in the final four on the line.
Tigers, after being invited to bat first by the Chennai Braves skipper, put on a comprehensive batting show, with Kusal Mendis (32) and Dasun Shanaka (34), taking the lead, finishing with a total of 126 for 5.

In reply, The Chennai Braves, despite Charith Asalanka (55), were only able to reach 99 for 6 in 10 overs to send Bangla Tigers into the top 4.
In the second match, the Delhi Bulls were up against the struggling team in Abu Dhabi.
In what was their last chance of qualification for the Bulls, they flattered out completely and became the only team in the tournament to be defeated by Team Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi, while chasing down the 98-run target, with the help of Kyle Mayers (61), chased down the target with seven wickets to spare, confirming the Bangla Tigers’ playoff qualification.

In the third match, which was essentially a dead rubber, Morrisville Samp Army, with the help of Bas de Leede’s deadly three-wicket spell, defeated the New York Strikers by 6 wickets, to finish on the top of the points table.
Irrespective of the result, both the teams will once again meet each other in the finals with a place in the finals on the line.
