New Delhi: Abu Dhabi T10 league, season seven, is only one match away from finding its ultimate winners, with the New York Strikers taking on the Deccan Gladiators on Saturday, December 9.
On Friday, Qualifier 1, eliminator and Qualifier 2, matches were played with four teams going all in for a place in the finals, and despite all the teams being star-studded, all three matches of the day turned out to be one-sided affairs, with Strikers and Gladiators, booking their seats for the finals.
In the first match of the day, Morrisville Samp Army took on the New York Strikers in the qualifier 1 match.
Strikers, after being invited to bat first, put on a strong show with the help of their opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz (56), and put up a big total of 121 on the board.
In reply, the Samp Army were forced to go down on the knees by Akeal Hosein’s deadly 5 for 6 spells, including a hat trick in the very first over, handing the Strikers a comfortable 41 runs victory and a place in the finals.
