As Rishabh Pant loses cool ahead of India Vs NZ 3rd ODI, netizens call out his ‘arrogance’

His comments didn’t go down well with his & cricket fans who saw arrogance in his attitude and even said that he is certainly ‘not the captain in making’.

New Delhi: Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant became the talking point on social media today, not for his good performance in the ongoing India-New Zealand ODI series but an arrogant comment he made before the beginning of 3rd ODI.

Rishabh, speaking to sports commentator Harsha Bhogle in Christchurch, dismissed the claims of his ‘poor form’ in the white ball series and asserted that he was ‘doing good’ in this format of game also.

He also got upset when the cricket commentator sought his opinion on his better test records than ODIs & T20s, he said, “sir, my white-ball numbers are not that bad also.”

He also told the commentator that no comparisons should be made at this stage of his life, when he is so young and just 24-25 years of age.

“Comparison does not make sense right now, I am just 24-25 years age of age. You can do it after I turned 30-32,” he said.

However, this didn’t go down well with his & many cricket fans who saw arrogance in his attitude and even said that he is certainly ‘not the captain in making’.

Some miffed fans went on to say that cricketer can best go back to domestic cricket for correcting ‘horrible attitude’.
