AUS vs WI, Second Test: Covid positive Cameron Green maintains social distancing during national anthem, netizens react

AUS vs WI, Second Test: Australian management surprised everyone by including the Covid positive all-rounder Cameron Green in the playing XI.

New Delhi: In a bizarre show of event in The Gabba Stadium of Brisbane, the Australian cricket team decided to include the COVID-19 positive Cameron Green in their playing XI, leaving everyone surprised with their decision.

The night before the last game of the Two-Test series against the Caribbean, Green and Australia’s head coach, Andrew McDonald, tested positive for Covid-19 virus.

Cameron Green can, however, still be included in the side for the second Test if his test results come back negative within the next 24 hours, according to Cricket Australia procedures.

Green, despite being included in the squad, was forced to travel alone and was also seen maintaining distance from his teammates in a now-going viral picture.
